My first experience with chiropractic was when I was six years old. I can remember my father being unable to play with us because his back was so sore. In fact, he could not even stand up straight! I can also remember what he was like after only a few sessions of chiropractic care. This memory played a major role in inspiring me to become a chiropractor so that I too, could make such a big difference in the lives of my patients and their families.
It is my mission is to provide the very best chiropractic care available so that I may help as many people as possible experience the utmost contentment, happiness, joy, fulfilment and health.
It is important to me that people who come to see me feel they have a choice in what is best for them and who it is helping them. For this reason I spend a lot of time educating my patients and is one of the reasons for providing this site to them.
It is my objective to help patients to find relief from their painful symptoms as quickly as possible and then move on to retraining their body to restore their lost health. Later on in care I wish to see patients graduate to a preventative/wellness-based model of care where we are working together not just to relieve symptoms and repair damaged tissues, but creating optimal health and well-being. I enjoy seeing patients improve and advance towards their health goals.
I practice what I preach -- I see my chiropractor on a regular basis, get massage and use a homeopath, meditate regularly and eat well. I see medication and surgery as the last option, unlike what many are taught today. I believe first to seek the cause of the ailment then provide the most appropriate, safest solution to deal with the cause, not just the symptoms.

Dr. Robichaud's Qualifications
Dr. Robichaud graduated with a Baccalaureate in Science in Human Kinetics with honours in 1996 from the University of Ottawa and a Doctor of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1999. He is a certified doctor of chiropractic in Ontario, Canada and has been in practice since 1999. Dr. Robichaud is fluent in French and English.

It seemed that due to a muscle strain almost 14 years ago that was not treated properly; this was going to be a part of be a part of my life on a daily basis. I felt as though I was loosing my mind with the pain. Headaches were very normal ever single day. After numerous tests, scans, surgeries, Botox, nerve blocks and very addictive pain medication, nothing seemed to manage the pain and there didn’t seem to be a doctor who could figure out exactly what the problem was. Chiropractic care always frightened me mainly due to my lack of knowledge and fear of more pain. I met Dr. Adrian Robichaud in 2004 when he joined the Greater Oshawa Chamber of Commerce and we chatted briefly about my condition and he told me to set up an appointment and of course I didn’t. After getting to know Dr. Robichaud over the years, I became more comfortable with him. One month ago I had mentioned my pain to him again out of pure frustration with the way I was feeling and he asked me to book an appointment with him for a consultation. I hesitantly obliged and went for my consultation which was very thorough. Dr. Robichaud was extremely informative and would not even think of treating me without x-rays. After the x-rays were completed, I returned for his report. He was confident that he could help me and once again, I hesitantly obliged and allowed my first adjustment. I went home that evening not feeling any different except that my headache had disappeared for almost an hour. Two days later, I went for my second adjustment. To my astonishment, my headache disappeared along with the neck pain for 24 hours. After two short weeks of treatment from Dr. Robichaud, I have not felt this good in over 14 years. My headaches are very infrequent and my neck pain is barely there. I feel as though Dr. Robichaud has given me back my life back without pain.
I now look forward to my appointments and feel confident that I am on the road to a pain free life thanks to Dr. Robichaud.

I came to see Adrian to straighten my back and help relieve my hip (upper buttock) pain in the fall of last year. Because of getting care from Adrian, I am better coordinated, I have less shortness of breath and breathe better and I have fewer headaches, better emotional control and less muscular pain. Not only have I had all of those great improvements but also, I am more flexible; I am better able to handle stress and feel less depressed. I also have better bladder function. I have especially noticed that Adrian has helped me improve my posture and I have had rounded shoulders and a hunched back since I was a little girl (over 45 years now)!
My daughter (who is also my hairdresser) has noticed that I can actually bend my neck back when she goes do to my hair something she has never seen me able to do before!
